Setting FDFD Simulation Control Panel

This section describes the FDFD simulation control panel.

After setting the project, click To run button in the FDFD tab, and the simulation control panel tab will be displayed automatically.

This module mainly consists of display control and status.

Display Control

Display control tab is used to set graphics scene control and field control of Composite viewer.

Graphics Scene Control

Graphics scene control tab is used to set transparency of structure and field in Composite viewer, and select whether to hide structures and fields.

Name	Description
Translucent	Set transparency. 1 means opaque, and 0 means transparent.
Hide material	Hide material structures in Composite viewer. Check it to enable this parameter.
Hide fields	Hide fields in Composite viewer. Check it to enable this parameter.

Field Control

Field control tab is used to set watch position of a field, refresh rate of a field and field component in Composite viewer.

Name	Description
Watch position	Set watch positions in different directions, including Pos X(um), Pos Y(um), and Pos Z(um).
Per sec	Select refresh rate of a field from the dropdown list.
Component	Select a component from the dropdown list.
Background color	Select a background color for field component from the dropdown list.
Translucent	Select transparency of field component from the dropdown list.

Status

Status tab displays simulation progress and performs operations such as running or stopping the project.

Name	description
Progress	Display simulation progress.
Status	Display simulation status.
Run	Run simulation.
Stop	Stop simulation.
